for the manufacture of a toilet preparation; and"; and

(iii) in paragraph (c) by inserting after “liquor" in the first place where it occurs, the following-

", other than liquor contained in or used as a toilet preparation.":

(b) in the definition of ** "liquor", "alcoholic liquor", "spirituous liquor" or "spirit"", by deleting "two per cent of proof spirit" and substituting the following-

*12. per cent of ethyl alcohol by volume"; and

(c) by inserting, after the definition of "retail", the follow

ing new definition—

**toilet preparation" means any preparation contain- ing more than 1.2. per cent of ethyl alcohol by volume which the Director is satisfied is intended for use-

(a) for personal hygience or cosmetic purposes, (6) in medicine, veterinary medicine or chiro-

pody:"
