An Ordinance to consolidate and amend the law relating to the

guardianship of minors.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

PART I

PRELIMINARY

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Guardianship of

Minors Ordinance 1972.

Short Gide.

2. In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires Interpretation.

"court" means the Supreme Court or the District Court;

"maintenance" includes education:

"parent" means father or mother.
