An Ordinance to amend the Pensions Ordinance.
[1st September, 1972]
Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice
and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Pensions (Amend- Short title.
ment) (No. 2) Ordinance 1972.
2. Section 8 of the principal Ordinance is amended by Amendment of deleting subsection (2) and substituting the following—
section 8.
"(2) Save as is provided in subsection (3), the Governor IDAY
(Cap. 93
(a) after considering the advice of the Public Services
Commission; and
(b) in the case of an officer whose appointment was with the approval of the Secretary of State, subject to the approval of the Secretary of State,
