An Ordinance to amend the Births and Deaths Registration

Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Births and Deaths Registration (Amendment) Ordinance 1972.

Section 24(2) of the principal Ordinance is amended—– (a) by deleting "registry" and substituting the following-

"register":

(b) in paragraph (a) of the proviso by deleting “no such entry in a post register book" and substituting the follow- ing

"no entry made in a post register book prior to Isl January 1972".
