Amendment of Bection 118.

Amendment of Third Schedule.

(iv) inserting after paragraph (h) the following new paragraphs-

"(0) the depth and size of graves and vaults:

( fees or charges payable in relation to the burial

of any human remains;

(*) such other matters as, in the opinion of the Authority, are necessary for the proper regula- tion and control of cemeteries in the public interest."; and

(b) in subsection (2) by—

(i) deleting in paragraph (c) "the depth and size of graves and vaults and"; and

(ii) deleting in paragraph (p) "the burial of any human remains,”.

3. Section 118 of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting after subsection (4) the following new subsection-

"(5) The Authority may by regulations prescribe fees for the grant of permission under subsection (2) to exhume human remains.”,

4. The Third Schedule to the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting, after "118(2)" in the first column and the matters specified opposite thereto in the second and third column. the following-

An Ordinance to amend the Urban Council Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Urban Council (Amendment) Ordinance 1972.

2. Section 45 of the principal Ordinance is repealed.

3. Section 46 of the principal Ordinance is repealed and replaced by the following-

"Minutes.

46. (1) Minutes of the proceedings of the Coun- cil and of committees of the whole Council shall be kept and authenticated in accordance with standing orders.
