An Ordinance to amend the Inland Revenue Ordinance.

[1st April, 1972.]

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Inland Revenue (Amendment) Ordinance 1972 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st April 1972.

(2) The amendment to the principal Ordinance made by section 2 shall apply in relation to all assessments made in respect of the year of assessment commencing on 1st April 1972 and subsequent years of assessment.

1. The Second Schedule to the principal Ordinance is amended-

(a) by deleting "For the year of assessment 1966/1967 and each year thereafter until superseded." and substituting therefor the following-

"For the years of assessment [966/67 to 1971/72 inclusive."; and
