An Ordinance to amend the Interpretation and General Clauses

Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Interpretation and General Clauses (Amendment) Ordinance 1972.

1. Section 8 of the principal Ordinance is amended by-

(a) inserting the following after "dispatching"-

"it":

(b) deleting the following-

"an envelope containing the document or notice.": and

(c) deleting "the envelope" and substituting the following-

"the document or notice",

Short title.
