CENSUS ORDINANCE.

(Chapter 316).

CENSUS (NO. 3) ORDER 1971.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Census Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following order-

1. 1971.

This order may be cited as the Census (No. 3} Order

Citation.

2. In this order, unless the context otherwise requires— "manufacturing establishment" includes any establishment at

which there is carried on-

(4) the manufacture of food for human or animal consump

tion including slaughtering. preparation, preserving. canning, bottling, refining and milling;

(b) the manufacture of beverages, including distilling.

rectifying and blending:

(c) the manufacture of tobacco:

(d) the manufacture of textiles, carpets, rope, twine, sisal or other fibres, including ginning, spinning, weaving. knitting, bleaching, dyeing and finishing,

(e) the manufacture of wearing apparel and made-up textile

goods:

(f) the manufacture of leather and leather products, includ-

ing tanning and finishing;

(g) the manufacture of foorwear;

(h) the manufacture of wood and wood products, including

sawmilling, planing, furniture, fixtures and fittings;

(/) the manufacture of paper and paper products, including printing, publishing, bookbinding, paper cutting, photo- engraving and typesetting:

() the manufacture of chemicals and chemical products:

(K) the manufacture of products of petroleum and coal,

including refining;

() the manufacture of rubber products;

(m) the manufacture of plastic products;

(n) the manufacture of non-metallic mineral products, other

than products of petroleum or coal;
