Explanatory Note.
(This Note is not part of the order, bur is Intended to indicate its general purport).
This order lists in the Schedule, in alphabetical order, all current pensionable offices together with the dates from which pensionability first attached to them.
The Pensionable Offices Order 1970 is cancelled but this cancellatian does not affect the pensionability of persons, if any, who held offices declared as pensionable under that order for so long as they continue in those offices, even though such offices are not declared pensionable in the new order.
