An Ordinance to amend the Banking Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Banking (Amend- ment) Ordinance 1971.

2. Section 52 of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting in paragraph (c), after "13", the following-

or by order of the Governor in Council under para- graph (ii) of subsection (1) of section 14,”.

3. Section 33 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting subsection (1) and substituting the following-

"(1) Every person to whom this subsection applies--

(a) shall preserve and aid in preserving secrecy with regard to all matters relating to the affairs of any
