An Ordinance to amend the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Dangerous Drugs (Amendment) Ordinance 1971.

2. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended in sub- section (1)—

(a) in the definition of "cannabis", by inserting after "tops"

the following-

"or viable seeds";

(6) by inserting after the definition of "opium poppy", the

following definition—

MAN

"opium water" means an aqueous extract of

opium;";
