11. Sections 4, 6, 8, 39, 40 and 44 of the principal Ordinance are repealed.

12. (1) Any person who at the commencement of this Ordinance is committed for trial at a session of the court sball be deemed to have been committed for trial at the court on such day as the Registrar may appoint.

(2) Where at the commencement of this Ordinance the trial of an accused person has been set down for or postponed to a session of the court the trial shall be deemed to have been set down for or postponed to such day as the Registrar may appoint.

Amendment.

Section 26(1) is amended by deleting "the ordinary criminal sessions and any special criminal sessions" and substituting the following-

"criminal trials".

Section 34(4) is amended by deleting para- graph (6),

(1) Section 8(B(3) is amended by deleting "Criminal Sossions of the".

(2) Section 84 is amended-

(a) in subsection (1) by deleting "at the criminal session of the court at which the accused is to be tried then" and substituling the following-

"before the court on such date 35 the Registrar may appoint"; and

(3) in subsection (2) by deleting "at The criminal session of the court at which the accused ja to be tried" and substitut- ing the following-

"before the court on such date as the Registrar may appoint".

(3) Section 85 of the Ordinance is amended-

(a) in subsection (2) by deleting "Criminal Session of the Supreme Court for the next ensuing month" and substituting the following-

"Supreme Court"; and

(5) by deleting subsection (4).

(4) Section 102 is amended in subsection (4) by deleting "first day of the criminal session at which he is to be tried or before the day to which such session is adjoured" and substituting the following~

"date of his trial".
