Au Ordinance to amend the Adoption Ordinance,
[19th November, 1971.]
Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Adoption (Amend- ment) Ordinance 1971.
2. Section 5 of the principal Ordinance is amended in subsection (7) by deleting paragraph (b) and substituting the following
"(b) the applicant has not less than-
(i) six months before the date of the order; or (ii) such shorter period before that date as the Court may allow on application by the applicant, lodged with the Director notice in writing in the prescribed form of his intention to apply for an adoption order in respect of the infant;".
