SECOND SCHEDULE.
TRANSITIONAL PROVISIONS.
(s. 67.]
1. In this Schedule-
"commencement date" means the date on which this Ordinance comes
into operation;
"Deportation (British Subjects) Ordinance", "Deportation of Aliens Ordinance" and "Immigration (Control and Offences) Ordinance" mean respectively the Deportation (British Subjects) Ordinance, the Deportation of Aliens Ordinance and the Immigration (Control and Offences) Ordioance repealed by this Ordinance.
7 Section 4(1)(a) shall have effect as if it included a reference to a person who arrived in Hong Kong before the commencement date, being a person who immediately before the commencement date was being examined or further examined under section 11 of the Immigration (Control and Offences) Ordinance or was about to be so examined or farther examined; and the provisions of this Ordinance shall apply to any such person accordingly.
3. The references in section 5(4)e) and 5(5)(a) to an entry permil and a re-entry permit include references to an entry permit and a reentry Permit issued under the Immigration (Control and Offences) Ordinance.
