An Ordinance to amend the Employment Ordinance.

[6th August, 1971.]

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and

consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Employment Short title.

(Amendment) Ordinance 1971.

2. Section 5 of the principal Ordinance is amended-

(a) in subsection (2)—–—

(i) in paragraph (a) by inserting, after "month to month", the following-

"and which does not make provision for the length of notice required to terminate the contract"; (i) by inserting, after paragraph (a), the following— "(aa) in the case of a contract which is deemed by virtue of the provisions of section 4 to be a
