Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Security of Tenure (Domestic Premises) Ordinance 1970.

2. In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise re- quires-

"court" means the District Court:

"landlord" means any person, other than the Crown, who is from time to time entitled to receive rent in respect of any premises and, in relation to a particular tenant, means a person entitled to receive rent from such tenant;
