An Ordinance to amend the Perjury Ordinance,

[23rd October, 1970.]

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and

consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Perjury (Amendment) Short title. Ordinance 1970.

2. Section 5 of the principal Ordinance is amended-

(4) in paragraph (c), by deleting the comma at the end

thereof and substituting the following-

or": and

(5) by inserting after paragraph (c) the following new para-

graph-

"(d) knowingly and wilfully-

makes a false statement in an applica-
