(b) by adding, after paragraph (e), the following new

paragraphs--

3.

"(ea) to act, either alone or jointly with any person. as a trustee of any trust which is established for charitable purposes in Hong Kong,

(eb) to accept any money or property of any descrip- tion upon terms that it be held under any trust for the benefit of member agencies and to execute any deed establishing any such trust, which may include provisions for the appoint ment and remuneration of any of the trustees thereof;"

The principal Ordinance is antended by adding, after section 8, the following new section-

"Corpora- tion a charity.

8A. For the avoidance of doubt, the corpora- tion is hereby declared to be a charity.".

An Ordinance to amend the University of Hong Kong Ordinance.

[9th October, 1970.]

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the University of Hong Kong (Amendment) Ordinance 1970.

2. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended in sub- section (1) by deleting "Pro-Vice-Chancellor" wherever it occurs and substituting the following-

"Pro-Vice-Chancellors".

3. Section 12 of the principal Ordinance is amended- (a) in subsection (1) by deleting "Pro-Vice-Chancellor" and

substituting the following-

"Pro-Vice-Chancellors":
