Amendment of section 2
Repeal of section 5.
4.
Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting subsection (2) and substituting the following-
"(2) The Director of Public Works may grant a permit issued under subsection (1) on such terms and attach thereto such conditions as he may think fit.".
5. Section 5 of the principal Ordinance is repealed.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
PART I.
PRELIMINARY,
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Import and Export Ordinance 1970, and shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by notice in the Gazette.
2. In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise re- quires
"air consignment note" and "air waybill' mean any document
which
(a) bears the signature of the owner, operator, charterer, authorized agent or commander of an aircraft; and
