An Ordinance to amend further the Pawnbrokers Ordinance.

[Ist April, 1970.]

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof,

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Pawnbrokers (Amendment) Ordinance 1970, and shall come into operation on the 1st day of April 1970.

2. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting, before the definition of "month", the following-

"identity document" means-

(a) an identity card issued in accordance with the provisions of the Registration of Persons Ordin-

ance;

(b) a passport issued by a competent authority

within or outside the Colony;
