An Ordinance to amend further the Supreme Court Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Supreme Court (Amendment) Ordinance 1970.

2. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended by adding, after the definition of "cause", the following new defini- tion

"Commissioner" means a Commissioner of the Supreme Court

appointed under subsection (I) of section 13A;".

3. Section 12 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting subsections (1) and (2) and substituting the following-

"(1) The Supreme Court shall consist of the Chief Justice, the Senior Puisne Judge and one or more Puisne Judges.
