minister, or interested in the charity which is the subject of the application, or by two or more inhabitants of any city. town, village or place within which the charity is administered or applicable.
4. The Attorney General may, acting ex officio, make application by petition to the court with respect to any charity under the provisions of the Charities Procedure Act 1812.".

Explanatory Note.

These rules amend the Rules of the Supreme Court by restoring the procedure formerly obtaining under rules 14, 15 and 16 of Order 28 of
the Code of Civil Procedure whereby the Attorney General and others might initiate proceedings relating to charities summarily wod in chambers.
