Explanatory Note.

(This Note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general purport).

This order lists in the Schedule, in alphabetical order, all current penslan- able offices together with the dates from which pensionability first attached to them.

The Pensionable Offices Order is cancelled but this cancellation does not affect the pensionability of persons, if any, who hold offices declared as pen- sionable under that order for so long as they continue in those offices, even though such offices are not declared pensionable in the new order.
