(Chapter 1109).

STATUTES OF THE CHINESE UNIVERSITY OF HONG KONG (AMENDMENT) STATUTES 1969.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20 of The Chinese University of Hong Kong Ordinance, the Council of The Chinese University of Hong Kong has made the following

statutes-

L. These statutes may be cited as the Statutes of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Amendment) Statutes 1969. Statute 3 of the principal Statutes is amended in para- graph (h) by deleting "Recognized Lecturers of the University" and substituting the following-

"full-time teaching staff members of the University";

Statute 9 of the principal Statutes is amended- (a) in paragraph I by deleting "(e) and (g)" and substituting

the following-

"(f) and (8)":

(b) in paragraph 3 by deleting "(f)" and substituting the

following-

"(g)".

4. Statute 12 of the principal Statutes is amended-

(a) in paragraph 2 by deleting "Recognized" wherever it

occurs:

(b) in sub-paragraph (k) of paragraph 3 by deleting “(g)"

and substituting the following-

**(ay".

5. Statute 14 of the principal Statutes is amended-

(a) in paragraph 2 by deleting "Recognized Lecturer" and

substituting the following-

"full-time teaching staff member"";

(b) by deleting paragraph 6 and substituting the following- "6. A Board of Faculty shall be established for

cach Faculty and shall consist of

(1) the Vice-Chancellor ex officio;

(ii) the President of each of the Colleges ex officio;
