(Chapter 59),

FACTORIES AND INDUSTRIAL UNDERTAKINGS (FIRST AID IN REGISTRABLE WORKPLACES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1969.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance, the Commis- sioner of Labour has made the following regulations-

1. These regulations may be cited as the Factories and Industrial Undertakings (First Aid in Registrable Workplaces) (Amendment) Regulations 1969.

2. The principal regulations are amended by adding after regulation I the following new regulation-

"Application. 14. These regulations shall not apply to any

Explanatory Note.

The purpose of these regulations is to exclude quarries from the application of the principal regulations. First aid lo quarrieš is now provided for under Part V of the Quarries (Safery) Regulations 1969.
