FUGITIVE OFFENDERS ACT 1967.

FUGITIVE OFFENDERS (DESIGNATED COMMON- WEALTH COUNTRIES) (AMENDMENT) (NO, 2) ORDER 1970.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2(1) and 20 of the Fugitive Offenders Act 1967 (as modified and adapted by the Fugitive Offenders (Hong Kong) Order 1967), the Governor, with the approval of the Secretary of State, has made the following order---

1. This order may be cited as the Fugitive Offenders (Designated Commcwealth Countries) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 1970.

The Schedule to the principal order is amended by insert- ing after "The Republic of Cyprus", the following-

Explanatory Note.

This order amends the Schedule to the Fugitive Offenders (Designated

Commonwealth Countries) Order by including à reference to Fiji, which is

now an independent country within the Commonwealth.
