PUBLIC HEALTH AND URBAN SERVICES ORDINANCE. (Chapter 132).

PLEASURE GROUNDS (AMENDMENT) BY-LAWS 1970,

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 109 of the Public Health and Urban Services Ordinance, the Urban Council has made the following by-law-

1. These by-laws may be cited as the Pleasure Grounds (Amendment) By-laws 1970.

2. By-law S of the principal by-laws is cancelled and re- placed by the following-

"Admission charges.

Schedule.

S. (1) Every member of the public on entering any pleasure ground specified in Part I of the Schedule shall pay the fee specified in the said Part I.

(2) Every member of the public on entering any part of any pleasure ground which is being used by the Council for holding an entertainment shall pay such fee as the Council may determine in relation to that entertainment.”.

By-law 18 of the principal by-laws is amended- (a) by deleting paragraphs (4) and (5) and substituting there-

for the following—–

"(4) Subject to the provisions of paragraph (5), where under subsection (2) of section 108 of the Ordinance the exclusive use of any pleasure ground or part thereof or of any facilities provided therein is allocated to any person, the fee payable shall be- (a) it no admission fee is charged to members of the public to view the activity carried on in the pleasure ground, the appropriate fee specified in Part II of the Schedule:

(8) if an admission fee is charged to members of the public to view the activity carried

(i) in a pleasure ground specified in Part III of the Schedule, a fee of ten per cent of the gross receipts or the sum of one hundred dollars whichever is the greater;
