(2) A certificate of posting under subsection (2) of section 17 of the Ordinance shall be in accordance with Form 4 in the Schedule.

(3) A certificate under subsection (1) of section 21 of the Ordinance shall be in accordance with Form 5 in the Schedule.

5. An application for a certificate under paragraph (b) of subsection (4) of section 22 of the Ordinance shall be made to the Commissioner and shall be in accordance with Form 6 in the Schedule and the certificate shall be in accordance with Form 7 in the Schedule.

6. (1) For the purpose of seizing and detaining a motor vehicle under section 23 of the Ordinance, the Commissioner of Police may-

(a) order any person to alight from it;

(b) order any person to give possession of any keys to the motor vehicle to him or to any other person authorized in writing by him; and

enter and 'search any premises or place if he knows or has reason lo suspect that the motor vehicle is in such premises or at such place.

(2) The Commissioner of Police may use such force as is reasonably necessary for the purpose of entering or searching any premises or place under sub-paragraph (c) of paragraph (1) or ol seizing any motor vehicle from such premises or place under section 23 of the Ordinance.

7. (1) The registered owner of a motor vehicle which is seized under section 23 of the Ordinance shall pay to the Com- missioner of Police a seizure charge of one hundred dollars.

(2) The registered owner of a motor vehicle which is detained under section 23 of the Ordinance shall pay to the Commissioner of Police a storage charge of five dollars for every day after the day on which the motor vehicle is so detained.

8. (1) A notice of detention of a motor vehicle served on a registered owner under subsection (6) of section 23 shall be in accordance with Form 8 in the Schedule.

(2) A notice of intention to apply for a warrant of distress published in the Gazette under subsection (6) of section 23 shall be in accordance with Form 9 in the Schedule.

The fixed penalty for this contravention is $30. If this amount of 530 is paid within 7 days after the above-mentioned date, the liability in respect of the contravention will be discharged and do further action will be taken. Payment instructions are contained in this Notice. If liability to pay the fixed penalty is con- tested, civil proceedings may be taken to recover it before a magistralo. If the trial magistrate orders payment of the fixed penalty, an additional sum between $20 and 5400 will have to be paid as costs by the defendant.
