BUILDINGS ORDINANCE. (Chapter 123).

BUILDING (PLANNING) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1970.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 38 of the Buildings Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations--

1. These regulations may be cited 30 the Building Citation and (Planning) (Amendment) Regulations 1970, and shall come into operation on the 3rd day of July 1970.

2. The principal regulations are amended by adding, after regulation 19, the following new regulation-

19A. (1) Where a building has a frontage of not on depth of more than 28 feet, the depth of the building shall not

Regulation 20 of the principal regulations is amended by deleting "Save as provided in regulation 22" wherever it occurs and substituting the following-

Regulation 21 of the principal regulations 1s amended by deleting "Save as provided in regulation 22" wherever it occurs and substituting the following-

Explanatory Note.

(This Note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general purport).

The new regulation 19A prohibits the erection of long and arrow buildings by providing for the maximum depth of buildings of a frontage not exceeding 28 feel.
