An Ordinance to amend the Offences against the Person Ordin- ance to give effect to the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Offences against the Person (Amendment) (No. 2) Ordinance 1969.
2. The principal Ordinance is amended by adding after section 9 the heading "GENOCIDE." and the following new section-
"Genocide.
Schedule
9A. (1) A person commits the felony of genocide if he commits any act falling within the definition of "genocide" in Article II of the Genocide Convention as set out in the Schedule.
