An Ordinance to amend further the Resettlement Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof,

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Rosettlement (Amendment) Ordinance 1969.

2. The principal Ordinance is amended by adding the following section after section 28-

"Power to let premises

for bank-

ing or

restaurant purposes.

28A. (1) Notwithstanding any other provision of this Ordinance, a competent authority may let any premises in a resettlement estate to any person- (a) who undertakes to provide banking facilities for the public in the premises so let; or (b) who undertakes to provide restaurant facili- ties for the public in the premises so let.
