An Ordinance to amend the Workmen's Compensation Ordinance.

[1st January, 1970.]

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Workmen's Compensation (Amendment) Ordinance 1969 and, subject to sub- section (2), shall come into operation on the 1st day of January 1970.

(2) Section 25 shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by notice in the Gazette.

2. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended in the proviso to subsection (1)—

(a) in paragraph (a), by deleting "seven" and substituting

the following-

"one thousand five":
