An Ordinance to amend further the Stamp Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and
consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Stamp (Amendment) Short title. Ordinance 1968.

Section 3 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a) by deleting the definition of "contract note" and sub-
stituting the following-
""contract note" means the note sent by a broker or agent to his principal, or by any person being the vendor or purchaser, advising the principal. or the vendor or purchaser, as the case may be, of the sale or purchase of any shares or market- able securities;"; and
