Amendment of section 5.

3. Section 4 of the principal Ordinance is amended, in paragraph (c) of subsection (4), by deleting "two hundred thou- sand" and substituting the following-

"four hundred thousand”.

4. Section 5 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting "or required under the proviso to subsection (1) of section 3".

This printed impression has been carefully compared by me with the Bill which passed the Legislative Council on the 22nd day of May, 1968, and is found by me to be a true and correctly printed copy of the said BIL.

Pay and Sickness Allowance) Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and

consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Industrial Employ- Short title. ment (Holidays with Pay and Sickness Allowance) (Amendment) Ordinance 1968.

Section 5 of the principal Ordinance is amended by delet ing subsections (1) and (2) and substituting therefor the following-

"(1) Save as provided in subsections (2), (3), (4) and (5), every worker shall be granted a holiday on each of the following days→→

(a) Lunar New Year's Day;

(5) the second day of Lunar New Year;
