An Ordinance to amend the Training Centres Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof,

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Training Centres (Amendment) Ordinance 1968.

2. Section 3 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting subsection (1) and substituting therefor the following-

*(1) The Governor may establish institutions, herein- after referred to as training centres-

(a) for the training and reformation of offenders who have attained the age of fourteen years and have not attained the age of twenty-one years; and (b) to which persons who have attained the age of fourteen years and have not attained the age of twenty-one years may be remanded or committed under subsection (1) of section 4A.".
