MERCHANT SHIPPING ORDINANCE.

(Chapter 281).

NOTIFICATION OF PORTS OF THE COLONY.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 61 of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, the Governor has declared the places in the waters of the Colony which are described in the Schedule bereto to be ports of the Colony.

Aberdeen.

SCHEDULE.

PORTS OF THE COLONY.

The waters enclosed within a line drawn on the west from the western extremity of Ap Lei Chau Island (Aberdeen Island) to Pollux Rock (Kai Lung Wan Shek), and on the east by a line drawn due east from the southern extremity of the said Ap Lei Chau Island to the coast line of Hong Kong Island,

Castle Peak.

The waters of Castle Peak Bay enclosed in an area bounded by the shore-line of Castle Peak Bay to the north of a lioc drawn 077" from a position 22" 22" 27" north 113° 57 30 east to a position 22° 22' 41 north 113* 8′ 39′′ east,

Cheung Chau,

The waters of Cheung Chau Bay to the east of a line drawn between the two western extremities of the bay.

Ket 0.

The waters enclosed within an area bounded on the north by a line drawn due west from Chek Kok Tau (North Point) to the meridian of longitude 114° 17′ 03o east, on the west by a line drawn due north from Shi Kok along the meridian of longitude 114° 17′ 03 east to the northern boundary and on the east and south by the shore-line contained between Chak Kok Tau (North Point) and O Shi Kok.

Lau Fau Shan.

The waters enclosed in an area bounded by a straight line drawn between position 12° 28′ 28′′ north 113° 56′ 45′′ east and position 22" 29 33 north 113° 58′ 06′′ east and parallel lines drawn 120" from the above two positions respectively to the coastline.

Sai Kung.

The waters enclosed within an area bounded to the north by a live drawn from Sha Kok Mei to the northern extremity of Yeung Chau, to the south by a line drawn from Che Keng Tuk, to the western extremity of Pak Sha Chan, and on the cast by a line drawn from the westero extremity of Pak Sha Chau to the eastern extremity of Yeung Chau.
