STATUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY (AMENDMENT)

(NO. 2) STATUTES 1968.

In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (2) of section 13 of the University of Hong Kong Ordinance. the Chancellor of the University of Hong Kong has made the follow. ing statutes

1. These statutes may be cited as the Statutes of the University (Amendment) (No. 2) Statutes 1968.

2. Statute III of the principal Statutes is amended in para- graph 2 by inserting the following after sub-paragraph (b)—–

(i) Diploma in Management Studies-Dip. M.S.”.

3. Statute XII of the principal Statutes is amended in paragraph 1 by deleting "In" and substituting therefor the following-

"Except as provided in the statutes, in";

4. Statute XIV of the principal Statutes is amended in sub- paragraph (a) of paragraph 1 by inserting the following after "the Chancellor"

"the Pro-Chancellor”.

5. Statute XV of the principal Statutes is amended by delet- ing paragraph 2 and substituting therefor the following-

"2. The Chancellor shall be the president of the Court. In the absence of the Chancellor the Pro-Chancellor or in the absence of both of them the Vice-Chancellor, shall preside at a meeting of the Court.”.

6. Statute XXI of the principal Statutes is amended in para- graph 1 by inserting the following after sub-paragraph (a)—

"(6) the Dean of each Faculty:”.
