(Chapter 281).

MERCHANT SHIPPING (MINOR FISHERIES)

(AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1968.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77 of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations—

These regulations may be cited as the Merchant Shipping Citation (Minor Fisheries) (Amendment) Regulations 1968.

2. Regulation 6 of the principal regulations is amended in paragraph (1) by deleting "Second",

3. The principal regulations are amended by deleting the Second Schedule and substituting the following-

"SCHEDULE.

AREAS WHERE BRIGHT LUHT FISHING IS PERMITTED.

1. Mira Bay, Tolo Harbour and Port Shelter-The waters of the Colony within the area bounded on the south by a line drawn 214" from Mirs Point (latitude 22° 27′ 05′′ north, longitude 114° 30′ 07" east) to the south eastern extremity of East Ninepin Island (Tung Kwo Chau), thence a line drawn 238° to the soulb castern extremity of South Ninepin Island (Nam Kwo Chau) thence a line drawm 278" to Fu Tau Point (Fat Tong Kok) with the exception of the Dangerous Goods Anchorage in the Tolo Channel specified in the Fourth Schedule to the Merchant Shipping (Control of Ports) Regulations.

2. Tseung Kwan O or Junk Bay-The area bounded on the south and west by a line drawn 160* from a position to the south of Tiu Keng Wan (latitude 22" 18" 10" north, longitude 114° 15' 10" east) to the western extremity of Junk Island (Fat Tau Chau), thence a line drawn 090" to meet the mainland.

3. Deep Bay-The waters of the Colony within the area bounded on the west by a line drawn 165 from South West Point (latitude 22" 28′ 30 north, longitude 113° 52′ 50′′ cast) to Black Point (Lan Kok Tsui).

4. Castle Peak-The arca bounded on the south by a line drawn 097* from Pillar Paint (Mong Hau Shek) to Brother's Point (Tai Lam Kot).

North Lantau-The area bounded on the north by a line drawn 270' from the headland on the western side of Luk Keng Bay (latitude 22° 20′ 07′′ north, longitude 114" 01′ 04′′ east) to the southern extremity of East Brother Island (Siu Mo To) thence a line drawn 248" to the southernmost extremity of West Brother Island (Tai Mo To) thence a live drawn 254* to the northernmost extremity of Chek Lap Kok Island
