DOGS AND CATS ORDINANCE.
(Chapter 167).
DOGS AND CATS (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1967.
In exercise of the powers conferred by saction 3 of the Dogs and Cats Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations—
1. These regulations may be cited as the Dogs and Cats Citation and (Amendment) Regulations 1967, and shall come into operation on
the day appointed for the commencement of the Dogs and Cats (Amendment) Ordinance 1967.

COMMENCement.
Regulation 4 of the principal regulations is amended by Amendment of
(a) being renumbered as paragraph (1) thereof;
(b) deleting "The" and substituting the following-
"Save as provided in paragraph (2), the":

(c) deleting the proviso thereto; and
(d)
inserting the following new paragraph-
"(2) No licence fee shall be payable in respect of any dog belonging to Her Majesty's armed forces.",
3. Regulation 5 of the principal regulations is revoked and replaced by the following-
**Validity of licences.
5. Every licence issued under these regulations shall be valid for a period of twelve months from the date on which it was issued.".
4. Regulation 6 of the principal regulations is amended by- (a) deleting paragraph (1) and substituting the following-
"(1) The owner or person having custody, care or control of any dog shall cause the dog to be inoculated against rabies at the age of three months and thereafter at intervals not exceeding three years."; and
(b) deleting paragraph (3).
5.
Regulation 8 of the principal regulations is amended in paragraph (1) by deleting the second sentence.
6. Regulations 10 and 20 of the principal regulations are revoked.
