(Chapter 266).

HONG KONG AND YAUMATI FERRY COMPANY (AMENDMENT) BY-LAWS 1967.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Hong Kong and Yaumati Ferry Company (Services) Ordinance, the Hong Kong and Yaumati Ferry Company, Limited, has made the follow- ing by-laws

1. These by-laws may be cited as the Hong Kong and Yaumati Ferry Company (Amendment) By-laws 1967.

By-law 4 of the principal by-laws is amended-

(a) by deleting paragraph (e) and substituting therefor the

following new paragraph-

"(e) except in cases of emergency-

() pass from one deck to another unless he is the driver or passenger of a vehicle that is being carried on a ferry vessel in which he is travelling; or

(ii) open any grill or door on any ferry vessel in order to pass from one deck to another;";

(b) in paragraph (g), by deleting "or" at the end thereof; (c) in paragraph (h), by deleting the fullstop at the end

thereof and substituting therefor a semicolon; and

(4) by inserting the following new paragraphs after para-

graph (1)~~

"() gamble or attempt to gamble on any of the Com-

pany's piers or on any ferry vessel;

() throw or attempt to throw any life buoy or any equipment on or from any of the Company's piers or on or from any ferry vessel except in cases of emergency:

(k) throw or attempt to throw any rubbish from any of the Company's piers or from any ferry vessel;

(h) beg or attempt to beg on any of the Company's

piers or on any ferry vessel; or
