An Ordinance to amend the Bills of Sale Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Bills of Sale (Amendment) Ordinance 1967.

2. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting paragraph (2) of the proviso to the definition of "bill of sale".

3. Section 7 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting "shall be void in respect of the personal chattels com- prised therein." and substituting therefor the following-

**shall-

(a) in the case of a bill of sale made or given by way of security for the payment of money, be void in respect of the chattels comprised therein; and
