An Ordinance to amend the Motor Vehicles (First Registration

Tax) Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (First Registration Tax) (Amendment) Ordinance 1967, and shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by notice in the Gazette.

2. Section 2 of the Motor Vehicles (First Registration Tax} Ordinance (hereinafter referred to as the principal Ordinance) is amended-

(a) by the insertion, after the definition "car" of the

following

"Commissioner" means the Commissioner of

Police:"; and

(8) by the deletion, in the definition "taximeter", of "of

Police".
