An Ordinance to amend further the Pensions Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and cansent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Pensions (Amendment) Ordinance 1967.

(2) Paragraphs (a) and (6) of section 2 shall be deemed to have bad effect as from the 1st day of April 1965.

2. Subsection (1) of section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended-

(a) by inserting the following new definition before the

definition of "pensionable office"

""officer who has elected" means an officer who. being eligible under Establishment Circular Number 2/67 dated the 5th day of January 1967 and published as Legal Notice Number 3
