In section 16, by deleting “acction 7 of the Magistrates (Coroners Powers) Ordinance" and substituting the following

"the Coroners Ordinance 1967".

In section 30, by deleting "magistrates under tho Magistrates (Coroners Powers) Onlinance", and substituting the following-

"coroners under the Coroners Ordinance

1967".

In by-law 3. by deleting "section 4 of the Magistrates (Coroners Powers) Ordinance" jo paragraph (b) of the definition of "funeral parlour" and substituting the following-

"the Coroners Ordinance 1967".

This printed impression has been carefully compared by me with the Bill which passed the Legislative Council on the let day of November, 1967, and is found by me to be a true and correctly printed copy of the said Bill.

An Ordinance to amend further the Magistrates Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Magistrates (Amend- ment} Ordinance 1967.

2. Section 78 of the principal Ordinance is amended in subsection (1) by deleting-

(a) the words "the oath of"; and

(b) the words and comma "and will not voluntarily appear

at the time and place appointed for the examination of the witnesses against the accused.".
