An Ordinance to amend further the Magistrates Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Magistrates (Amend- ment} Ordinance 1967.
2. Section 78 of the principal Ordinance is amended in subsection (1) by deleting-
(a) the words "the oath of"; and
(b) the words and comma "and will not voluntarily appear
at the time and place appointed for the examination of the witnesses against the accused.".
