Amendment of

section 28.

11. Section 28 of the principal Ordinance is amended in sub- section (1)-

(a) by deleting from paragraph (8)“, training and instruction"

and substituting therefor the following-

"and training"; and

(b) by deleting paragraph (c).

This printed impression has been carefully compared by me with the Bill which passed the Legislative Council on the 15th day of March, 1967, and is found by me to be a true and correctly printed copy of the said Bill.

An Ordinance to amend the Royal Hong Kong Defence Force

Ordinance.

[1st April, 1967.]

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Royal Hong Kong Defence Force (Amendment) Ordinance 1967, and shall come into operation on the 1st day of April 1967.

2. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended by- (a) inserting, at the end of the definition of “active service”.

"under section 16 or 17;

(6) deleting the definition of "Commanding Officer" and substituting therefor the following new definition--

"Commanding Officer" means the person for the time being in command of the Hong Kong
