(b) subject as aforesaid, the same rules shall prevail and be observed as to the respective rights of secured and unsecured creditors and as to debts and liabilities provable and as to the valuation of annuities and future and contingent liabilities respectively and as to the priorities of debts and liabilities as may be in force for the time being under the law of bankruptcy with respect to the assets of persons adjudged bankrupt.".
4. Section 62 of the principal Ordinance is amended- (a) by the deletion of subsection (1) and the substitution
therefor of the following-
and
"(1) Any person, below the rank of Senior Inspector, employed in the police force, and any person, below the rank of Principal Officer, em- ployed in the prisons department, who shall de whilst so employed, shall be deemed not to be within the meaning of the preceding provisions of this Ordinance."; and
(b) by the deletion of subsection (3) and the substitution
therefor of the following-
"(3) The Commissioner of Police or the Com- missioner of Prisons, as the case may be, may sign an order upon the Accountant General for the pay- ment of the whole or any part of such balance to such person or persons as may appear to him to be entitled thereto, and the Accountant General shall comply with such order.".
5. The Schedule to the principal Ordinance is deleted.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Holidays (Amendment) Ordinance 1967.
(2) Section 4 shall come into operation on the 1st day of January 1968.
2. The Long Title to the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting "and school",
3. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a) by deleting. in the definition of "general holiday", "section 5, shall be a dies non and which" and sub- stituting the following-
"sections 5 and 9,":
