An Ordinance further to amend the Magistrates Ordinance.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and

consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Magistrates (Amendment) Short title. Ordinance 1966.

1. Section 30 of the Magistrates Ordinance (hereinafter referred Amendment to as the principal Ordinance) is amended in subsection (3) by the of section 30. deletion of the full stop and the insertion at the end thereof of the (Cap. 227), following-

"or until it is withdrawn by any magistrate.".

3. Section 54 of the principal Ordinance is amended by-

(a) being renumbered as subsection (1) thereof; and

(b) the insertion of the following new subsection-

"(2) A warrant issued under subsection (1) may remain in full force until it is executed or until it is withdrawn by any magistrate.".
