An Ordinance further to amend the Prisons Ordinance 1954.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and

consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

L This Ordinance may be cited as the Prisons (Amendment) Short title, Ordinance 1966.

2. Section 2 of the Prisons Ordinance 1954 (hereinafter referred Amendment

to as the principal Ordinance) is amended-

(a) by the deletion of the definition "other person employed in

the prisons" and the substitution therefor of the following-

"other person employed in the prisons" includes any officer or member of the Prisons Department, other than a senior officer or a subordinate officer, and any other person for the time being employed in the Prisons Department;":
