DANGEROUS DRUGS (AMENDMENT OF FIRST SCHEDULE)

ORDER 1966.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following order

Explanatory Note.

(This Note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicane its general purport).

Item 34 of Part 1 of the First Schedule to Cap. 134 relates to phenobarbi- tone, ite salts and preparations thereof. As this drug has at no time been involved in the Colony with the illicit use of heroin or any other drug there is no necessity to treat it here as a dangerous drug. It is therefore, by this order, removed from the Schedule of such drugs.
