UNIVERSITY ORDINANCE 1958.

(No. 13 of 1958).

STATUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY (AMENDMENT} STATUTES 1966.

In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (2) of section 14

of the University Ordinance 1958, the Chancellor of the University of

Hong Kong has made the following statutes-

1. These statutes may be cited as the Statutes of the University Citation (Amendment) Statutes 1966,

2. Section 2 of Statute III of the Statutes of the University is Amendment amended by the addition, at the end thereof, of the following words:

"Diploma in Architecture-Dip. Arch.”.

3. Statute XXV of the Statutes of the University is amended by Amendment the deletion of the following words:

"and Assistant Lecturers”,

and by the addition of the word "and" between the words "Senior 1958). Lecturers," and "Lecturers".

4 Statule IX of the Statutes of the University is amended by Amendment

(a) the deletion of Section 2(c);

(b) the renumbering of Section 2(d) as 2(c);

(c) the deletion of Section 4;

(d) the addition of a new Section 4-

"The Estates and Maintenance Officer shall be an officer,

and

(a) shall be appointed by the Council;

(6) shall be responsible for general maintenance of all Univer-

sity buildings, properties, and grounds;

(c) shall be responsible for the keeping of such inventories

as the Council may determine:

(d) shall discharge such other duties in connexion with the University buildings, properties, and grounds as may be determined by the Council.";

(e) the addition of Section 5-

"(a) Any Deputy or Assistant Registrar or Bursar and any

Deputy or Sub-Librarian shall be an officer;
